Humanoid robotics and AI research and development - Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics
The Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics, located near Munich, Germany, is one of three institutes of the Robotics and Mechatronics Center of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The focus of the institute is on the development of a wide array of robots to enable humans to interact more safely and efficiently with their surrounding environments. The robots are designed to act in surroundings inaccessible or dangerous to humans as well as to support humans in everyday life and work.
