A new generation of EU energy labels

This report provides illustrative photos on the rescaling of the EU energy labels. The EU energy label has always been key in boosting the energy efficiency of everyday electric appliances like lighting, heating, fridges, freezers and televisions, but also products like fuel boilers, tyres and air conditioners. The new EU energy labels will reintroduce a simpler classification using only letters from A to G. The first set of new energy labels for some electric household appliances  will be visible in shops as of 1st March 2021.
