Participation of Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, in the launch event of the European Climate Pact

On 16 December 2020, Frans Timmermans, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of the European Green Deal, and Commissioner for Climate Action Policy, took part to the launch of the European Climate Pact.The European Climate Pact consists in an EU-wide initiative inviting people, communities and organisations to participate in climate action and build a greener Europe. EU Climate Pact Ambassadors also took part in the event to discuss the upcoming Climate Pact pledges and other guests via videoconference on the actions that are to be taken to combat climate change.
