On 29 August 2019, Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, chaired the the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affaires Ministers (Gymnich) in in Helsinki, Finland. The EU Ministers discussed the wider Middle East, the Arctic region and hybrid threats. In addition, regional cooperation was discussed with the Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkan partners.
