On 15 May 2020, Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and President of the Council, gave a video press conference following the meeting n°VC-FAM-150520 he chaired in a virtual format with EU Ministers for Foreign Affairs.

On this occasion, Josep Borrell Fontelles namely stated that they had a very good and important discussion on the Middle East Peace Process. The resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict remains a priority and in the strategic interest of the European Union which stands ready to help.
