On 15 May 2020, Michel Barnier, Head of Task Force for Relations with the United Kingdom, to the press conference ollowing the 3rd round of negotiations with the UK, gave a press conference at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium, following the 3rd round of negotiations (the second via video conference due to the coronavirus context) for a new partnership between the European Union and the United Kingdom.

In comparison with the meeting of April 2020, Michel Barnier identified slight progress and reiterated the EU's aim for a free trade agreement, without customs duties, for all goods.

At the end of his speech, Michel Barnier also answered some journalists' questions.
