Opening statement by Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, on the EU Association Agreement with Ukraine, extract from the Plenary Session of the EP
On 9 February 2021, Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of an Economy that works for People, and Commissioner for Trade, participated in the Plenary Session of the European Parliament held in Brussels, Belgium, where he gave an opening statement on the EU Association Agreement with Ukraine.
On this occasion, Valdis Dombrovskis ended his speech by saying that the EU is helping Ukraine to create the right conditions for prosperity and peace. He added that Ukraine has Europe's political, financial and technical support.
