Opening statement by Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission, on corruption and human rights, extract from the Plenary Session of the EP

On 15 February 2022, Margaritis Schinas, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of promoting our European Way of Life, participated in the Plenary Session of the European Parliament held in Strasbourg, France, where he gave an opening statement on corruption and human rights.

On this occasion, Margaritis Schinas highlighted once again the EU's commitment to fight against corruption at global, multilateral, regional and country level, whilst always addressing the very real link with human rights.
