On 30 November 2022, Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of a stronger Europe in the World, Stella Kyriakides, European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, and Jutta Urpilainen, European Commissioner for International Partnerships, participated in the EU Global health strategy in Brussels, Belgium.

On this occasion, the Commission adopted a new EU Global Health Strategy to improve global health security and to delivery better health for all in a changing world.
