On 9 February 2023, a Brussels special European Council took place in Brussels, Belgium, with the participation of Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine. 

During this summit, the European Union leaders held an exchange of views with the President of Ukraine on Russia’s war of aggression, the economy, migration and other items, covering the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue and the earthquake in Türkiye and Syria.
