On 27 February 2023, the Dialogue Belgrade/Pristina took place in Brussels, Belgium, under the supervision of Josep Borrell Fontelles, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of a stronger Europe in the World, and Miroslav Lajčák, EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue.
During this meeting, Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, and Albin Kurti, Kosovan* Prime Minister, discussed an EU proposal on normalisation of the relations between the two countries, both aspiring to join the EU.
The proposal, which has been in the making for a whole year, was published by the European External Action Service (EEAS) and is labelled ‘Agreement on the path to normalisation between Kosovo and Serbia’.
