On 28 June 2023, Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of an Economy that works for People, and Commissioner for Trade, and Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability, and Capital Markets Union, gave a joint press conference on the read-out of the weekly meeting of the von der Leyen Commission, held at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.

On this occasion, Valdis Dombrovskis presented the outcome of the meeting and, together with Mairead McGuinness, gave some remarks on financial data access and payments.
