Together for accessibility
Accessibility is a prerequisite for the full participation of persons with disabilities in society on an equal basis with others. Despite existing laws, many products and services in the EU are still not accessible to persons with disabilities. Adopting a ‘design-for-all’ approach when implementing accessibility, ensuring an inclusive digital transformation, and supporting EU countries to implement EU accessibility laws are some of the goals of the European Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030. In this video, our Estonian Champion, Jakob Rosin, talks about his story and what the EU is doing to achieve a genuine Union of Equality.
