On 1 February 2024, Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, and Charles Michel, President of the European Council, participated in the special European Council meeting, held in Brussels, Belgium.

During this special meeting, EU leaders focused on several topics namely the multiannual financial framework, the Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East but also the agricultural issues. At the same day, a demonstration took place in the center of Brussels on the topic of EU agricultural regulations.
