The European Union is founded on a system of values
to ensure freedom and equality for all.
The Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme is a unique source
of EU funding to sustain and further develop open, rights based,
democratic, equal and inclusive societies.
The Union Values strand empowers grassroots civil society
organizations and European networks across the EU to defend
fundamental rights,
including the fight against hate speech and hate crime,
and to engage citizens. By upholding the rule of law and democracy,
this strand is providing funding to create positive change
in communities,
back champions of EU values
and shape an equitable future for all.
On the funding and tenders portal, you will find calls under this strand.
If you need assistance with your application,
you will find the ‘help’ section at the end of the call document,
including the list of CERV National Contact Points.
If you want to know more about the other strands,
watch the next videos.
Together, through your projects, we support open,
democratic and inclusive societies.
