On 24 February 2024, Christophe Hansen, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, participated in the Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Brussels, Belgium.The meeting, chaired by Czesław Siekierski, Polish Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, focused on the implementation of the principle of ‘rural proofing’, the EU market situation for agrifood products, in particular following Russia’s war against Ukraine, and the Commission presented its vision for agriculture and food.This video shows the press conference held following the meeting.
