Show transcript

To get clean air.

We must start now.

Air pollution causes around 250,000 premature deaths in Europe per year.

Children, the elderly and lower income people are the most affected

and it damages crops, forests and ecosystems.

The new EU ambient air quality directive will bring

stricter limits on polluting fine particles,

stronger rights for citizens to be compensated,

cleaner air by 2030

and zero pollution for all by 2050.
